A Brief Overview of Kelmscott Manor
The interior of Kelmscott Manor is a testament to Morris’s design philosophy. Visitors can see his intricate wallpaper and fabric patterns, furniture, stained glass, and other decorative elements, all of which showcase his commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and a connection to nature. The manor’s design reflects Morris’s rejection of mass production and embrace of artisanal techniques.
The manor is set amidst beautiful gardens, meadows, and orchards, which served as a source of inspiration for Morris and his fellow artists.
