A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF BATH

With a history dating back to the Roman period, the city’s thermal springs have been attracting visitors for centuries. The Roman Baths, a well-preserved complex featuring ancient baths and a temple, remains one of the city’s most significant landmarks.

During the 18th century, Bath experienced a period of cultural and architectural blossoming. The Georgian architecture, characterized by beautiful terraces and crescents, is a testament to this golden era. The Royal Crescent and the Circus are prime examples of the city’s architectural splendor.

Bath’s charming city center is a UNESCO World Heritage site, featuring a plethora of quaint streets, independent boutiques, and delightful cafes. The Bath Abbey, a majestic Gothic cathedral, also graces the city’s skyline.
